We’re excited to kick off our tenth year in business with a call for applications to the 2023 Get Online NOLA Grant! Over the past decade we have made it our mission to support small businesses – which includes giving back with free resources when we can. How To Win A Website
Small businesses and charitable organizations in need of a free website can apply on the Get Online NOLA website. The 2023 Grant is open for applications now and will close on March 24th, 2023. Nominate your own company or another business you love that needs a boost online. Winning the grant gives the business a customized website created by Get Online NOLA plus six months of website hosting fees.
Our First Get Online NOLA Grant Winner
In 2022, the first Get Online NOLA Grant winner was Will & Toosie Specialty Iron Work. Pillars of the New Orleans Lower 9th Ward community, Will and Rochelle “Toosie” Peck own Will & Toosie Specialty Iron Work. They create the ornate yet functional ironwork fences and railings that New Orleans is known for.
In early 2022, Will and Toosie suffered a major setback when Will’s van, filled with his specialty tools, was stolen. Their story inspired us to help out how we could: by building them a website. After granting their website we decided to make this an annual tradition to support our community.
